Along with visual design and communication, I have often worked alongside community arts organisations and educational institutions in a variety of roles. 

From costume sourcing to prop and scale model making, I'm passionate about sharing skills with the next generation of creators and learning from their imaginative and illuminating perspectives. I am also a firm believer in across the board access to the arts and in making work that is accessible, inclusive and compassionate.

DESIGN COMMUNICATION WORKSHOPS

I have worked on developing theatre based design workshops for young people at Theatre Peckham for their TheatreMakers workshop. This workshop used shadow puppetry and explored crafting set pieces from reclaimed materials. 

I also worked with the cast of the National Theatre Connections submission at Theatre Peckham to create their own set with similar techniques. 

Design has so many aspects and drama education does not always emphasise the importance and power of design and visual communication not only for performances but as a tool for self-expression and storytelling 

DUTY MANAGEMENT AND FACILITATION

I have recently worked as Duty Manager at Mountview drama school in Peckham. This role was largely guest facing also including preparation and facilitation of rehearsal spaces and live public performances. Working with directors and company managers as well as front of house and estates teams to ensure the smooth running of every performance.

Administrative assistance in youth theatre classes and performances at Theatre Peckham.

I have also worked with Kindred Drama Consultancy on their summer drama workshops, working with the young people as pastoral care as well as artistic assistance.
